Lake 2, Trans-Labrador Highway, Labrador
Along the Trans-Labrador Highway are countless pristine lakes , endless virgin forests of Black Spruce, grazing Moose,Caribou and Bear and some of the most beautiful skies and vistas one can imagine. The Trans-Labrador is a sublime sensory experience. One can drive for hours and hours along this road, without encountering another human. This is the northern most road on the Eastern Coast of the North American Continent. Within the next five years the entire length of the Trans-Labrador will be paved. Easily navigable, and a sure way to bring visitors and commerce to this remote land. Plans are in-place for a new hydro-electric plant and with a land so rich in natural resources, logging, mining and development, will follow. Over time, pristine wilderness will give way to man's advance.
